Mission and
Objectives are twofold: to offer bi-lingual (English and Finnish language)
worship opportunities to that part of the Lutheran church on this continent
that has roots in the Church of Finland and to offer mission project
opportunities by which we put our faith into action. Hence, our emphasis is a
balance of inner faith and outer mission. The conference lives from the
Word of God, heard in festivals of five regions in addition to the national
convention. It believes strongly "that we are not ashamed of the Gospel
for it is the power of God to salvation." Romans 1:16-17. Contact
